1. INFORMATION ON COOKIES

Following the entry into force of the relevant amendment to the “Law on Information Society Services” (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the user’s express consent on all websites that use non-essential cookies before the user browses them.

2. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Cookies and other similar technologies, such as local shared objects, Flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the site functions correctly. The use of these technologies enables the web server to remember certain data relating to the user, such as their preferences for viewing the pages on that server, their username and password, the products they are most interested in, etc.

3. COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATION AND EXEMPT COOKIES

According to the EU directive, the cookies that require the user’s informed consent are analytics cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, whilst technical cookies and those necessary for the functioning of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user are exempt.

4. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE THERE?

There are five main groups of cookies:

Analytical cookies: these collect information on how the website is used.Analytical cookies: these collect information on how the website is used.
Social cookies: these are necessary for external social media platforms.
Affiliate cookies: these allow visits from other websites with which the website has an affiliate agreement (affiliate companies) to be tracked.
Advertising and behavioural cookies: these collect information about the user’s personal preferences and choices (retargeting).
Technical and functional cookies: these are strictly necessary for the use of the website and for the provision of the contracted service.

5. COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE

PHPSESSID: a technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session identifier. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
_lang: a technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session language. It is deleted when you close your browser.
ac_cookies: a technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the value indicating whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. It expires one year after the last update.
_utma: a Google Analytics cookie that records the date of the user’s first and last visits to the website. It expires 2 years after the last update.
_utmb: a Google Analytics cookie that records the time of arrival on the website. It expires 30 minutes after the last update.
_utmc: a Google Analytics cookie used for interoperability with the urchin.js tracking code. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
_utmt: a Google Analytics cookie. This cookie is used to process the type of request made by the user. It expires at the end of the session.
_utmv: a Google Analytics cookie. This cookie is used to segment demographic data. It expires at the end of the session.
_utmz: a Google Analytics cookie that stores the traffic source or a campaign to explain how the user arrived at the website. It expires 6 months after the last update.

6. WITHDRAWING CONSENT TO THE USE OF COOKIES. HOW TO DELETE COOKIES FROM YOUR BROWSER
